Presentation of the ArmArch Online Encyclopedia of Armenian Architecture
Presentation of the ArmArch Online Encyclopedia of Armenian Architecture took place on 19th August in the Club. The presentation was followed by a conference entitled ‘Armenian Regional Modernism: Modernizing the Tradition’. Following presenters had talks during the conference:

- Karen Balyan, architect (Russian Federation)-‘What is Armenian Modernism?’
- Talinn Grigor, art historian (USA)-‘In the Ruins of Regional Modernism: Documenting Architecture in Armenia’
- Tigran Harutyunyan, architect (Russian Federation)-‘The Dialogue between Modernism and pre-Modernism in Rafael Israelyan’s Critical Texts’
- Davit Stepanyan, architect (Armenia)-՛Armenian or Regional Modernism: Local Specificities of the International Style’
The presentations were followed by public discussions around the issues pertinent to terminological and phenomenological definition of Armenian (regional) modernism.
