Cantilever is one of the know-hows of modernist architecture. Its birth was made possible with the advent of concrete and metal construction technologies. Cantilevers stood as a symbol of technical-technological achievements of contemporary architecture, which was also one of the reasons why this structural element was so popular and beloved by Soviet and Soviet Armenian architects. It carried the spirit of innovation and technical-scientific achievements.
